Marian Elaine Coulthard, age 66, passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital on August 19, 2018. Born in Stratford, February 15, 1952, daughter of the late Harold and Ila (Aikens) Eickmeyer.
Marian and her family have farmed at Downiebrook Farms, RR# 1 St. Pauls all of their life. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Stratford. She played piano for many years with the Four Steps Quartet and the church Praise Band. She loved gardening, music and playing cards.
Beloved wife of Gordon Coulthard and loving mother of Murray and Donald. Dear sister of Shirley Elschner (Barry). Also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Norma Howe, Larry Coulthard (Elsie), Alex Coulthard and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Kenneth Eickmeyer, brothers-in-law Fred Howe and Winston Coulthard and parents-in-law Norman and Jeanne (Innes) Coulthard.
Family and friends will be received at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, August 22, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. Mark Wolfe will officiate. A reception will be held at the St. Pauls Community Centre followed by interment at St. Marys Cemetery.
