Kitchener man due in court in connection to vehicle hitting Stratford Cenotaph wall

A 20-year-old Kitchener man charged after police say he drove into the wall of a war memorial in Stratford is set to make an appearance in court.
A court official confirms to the My Stratford Now newsroom that Nathaneal Tewelde will be in court Monday.
Tewelde faces four charges including Impaired driving and Mischief to Police Property for what police say was an incident at police headquarters following his arrest.
Police say a vehicle was traveling northbound on Erie Street, just before midnight August 12th, between York and Cobourg Streets when it ended up going off the road and colliding with a stone wall near the cenotaph.
The driver and one passenger were in the vehicle at the time with neither injured.
