The Perth District Health Unit says it’s pleased with the results of the 2013/14 flu shot season.
Overall the number of local healthcare workers who got the shot increased from last year.
As of May 29th, the PDHU had distributed over 28,800 doses of flu vaccine.
That’s about 600 more doses than last year.
As of May 28th Perth County had 87 lab-confirmed cases of influenza this season.
