‘Save VIA’ concert with Emm Gryner on Saturday

The local ‘Save VIA’ group has been at it for two years and has no intention of backing off.

They are hosting a concert this Saturday in St Marys to raise funds and awareness for their cause featuring Stone Town musician Emm Gryner.

‘Save VIA’ organizer Chris West says this concert will launch the next phase of their plan to passenger rail service back to the region.

He says Gryner has provided a huge boost to the group before and he knows she’ll do it again this weekend.

West says Phase 1 of the campaign to restore passenger rail service is over and Phase 2 is ready to begin.

He outlines what Phase 2 will look like.
