Young Canadian farmers are getting a boost from BMO.
According to the bank, a “demographic shift” is underway in our countries agriculture, and there’s a need to bring more young people into the sector.
Climate change and trade are being cited as factors leading to more needing to be done to ensure the industry remains competitive.
The BMO Young Farmer Program offers loans of up to a million dollars to farmers aged 35 and under.
