Allison Low died peacefully at Spruce Lodge on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Born June 17,1916 in Zorra Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lupton and the former Edith Innes. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Alexander Low, (1990) who she married on June 5, 1943. She and her husband farmed in the Gore of Downie for many years. She was the beloved mother of Alan Low and wife Barbara (Knox); Margaret and husband Jim Byatt. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Alex Low and Jen Provencher, Kate and Nathan Adams, Anne Low and Gareth Moore, Amy and Jamie Symons, Sarah Byatt and Bren Erb. Allison was a cherished great-grandmother of Cole, Mason, Ainsley, Emily, Malcolm and Sadie. As well as her husband and parents, Allison was predeceased by her seven brothers and their wives Innes and Emma, William and Willa, Ronald and Annie, Ralph and Jen, Charlie and Elsie, Raymond and Elsie, Chester and Muriel. She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law Alice and Fraser Gibb, Mary and Bram Collier and Ted Fuller, Joe and Margaret Robinson, and daughter-in-law Deborah (Ferguson) Low. Friends and relatives will be received at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert St., Stratford, on Friday, June 6th from 7 till 9pm. There will be a family service at the funeral home on Saturday, June 7th at 10:30am.
