One man dead after two-vehicle crash near Ingersoll

Police say the roads are now reopened in the area.

UPDATE: 2:00 P.M.

One man is dead after a two-vehicle collision near Ingersoll.

Police say they were called out to the intersection of Karn Road at County Road 6 around 10 o’clock Thursday morning after reports of a collision.

They determined that a motorcycle had collided with a four-door SUV.

According to police, the driver of the motorcycle was brought to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
His identity has yet to be released.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators are currently on scene and roads in the area will be closed for several hours for an investigation.

A two-vehicle crash near Ingersoll has sent one person to the hospital.

Police say it happened around 10 o’clock Thursday morning at the intersection of Karn Road and County Road 6.

One of the drivers was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police have closed several roads near the scene and they are asking you to avoid the area.
