Woodstock Police have charged a woman after an incident in that city involving a baseball bat.
Just before 3 o’clock Saturday morning, police were called to a home on Altadore Crescent about reports of a woman with a weapon.
They say they discovered that a 66-year-old man had been injured after being struck by a baseball bat.
The man was treated for his injuries at the hospital and then released.
A 59-year-old woman from Woodstock has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Aggravated Assault.
She remains in custody.
