A man believed to have been carrying a gun in Woodstock actually made a poor fashion choice.
Police say a 42-year-old man wearing a belt buckle accessory resembling a semi-automatic pistol was arrested on an outstanding warrant Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called out after a 911 call reported a man with a firearm on his waist.
Staff Sergeant Neil Butler says the belt accessory wasn’t illegal, but “it does show a lack of common sense.”
