Police are asking the public to be respectful of the democratic process.
It comes after they say municipal election campaign signs were stolen in Perth South.
Police say the signs were stolen from the Whalen Line and Perth Road 151 area last Thursday and the signs that were stolen have now been replaced.
The destruction or removal of election signs is a criminal offense which can result in criminal charges.
