An 82-year-old woman is dead after a collision between a vehicle and a scooter in Woodstock.
First responders were called out around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to the intersection of Ingersoll Avenue and Graham Street after the collision between a pickup truck and a four-wheel mobility scooter.
Police say their initial investigation has revealed that the scooter was traveling south on Graham Street when it became involved in a collision with a Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck that was traveling westbound on Ingersoll Avenue.
The woman was brought to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and she later pronounced dead with the driver of the truck uninjured.
Investigators continue to look into what happened.
