An opioid reversing drug is being credited with saving a woman’s life in Tillsonburg.
Officers say they were called out around 8 o’clock Sunday night about an unresponsive female at a home in the city.
They say she was found without vital signs and she was given CPR but remained unresponsive with an officer then administering Naloxone.
The 24-year-old woman was brought to the hospital by paramedics where she was stabilized and is recuperating.
Naloxone can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose and OPP officers are equipped with a Naloxone kit to save lives.
