Chris Hadfield sings at Save VIA concert

The sold out ‘Save VIA’ concert took place this past Saturday in St Marys.

Organizer Chris West says it was a huge success.

Emm Gryner headlined the event.

However, West says there was a huge surprise for the people who attended – Chris Hadfield was there.

West says the famous Canadian astronaut even got up on stage with Emm Gryner and the other musicians.

The concert was to raise awareness about the need for passenger rail service in our region.
