On October 1, 2018, Heaven received a very special angel. Harold Baumbach (born April 26, 1938) passed away in one of the places most dear to his heart, his barn. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy (Leis) July 26, 1986 and his parents Lawrence and Edna (Riehl) Baumbach. Loving and devoted Dad of Pauline Baumbach and Judy Schultz and her husband Lyle. Special Papa to Sarah, Isaiah and Aaron Schultz. Dear brother of Avis (Alan) Murray. Fun loving uncle to Dan Murray (Joanne) and Michelle (Gary) Cooper and their children Taylor and Tyson Murray and Kyla and Kinley Cooper. Brother in law of Mabel Wagler, Marjorie and Maurice Crone, Dennis and Marcella Alles and Roy Leis (deceased). He was a loyal friend to many and a valued neighbour as well. He will also be fondly remembered by members of the Baumbach, Riehl and Leis families. The memory of his laughter, sense of humor, common sense approach and loving nature will always keep our “Bubbles” near. Visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Friday October 5, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Ellice Twp. on Saturday October 6 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
