Stratford Police Chief John Bates is in Moncton today.
He’s one of thousands of police officers from across North America in the New Brunswick city.
They will all attend the funeral for the three Mounties killed last Wednesday in the shooting rampage.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper will also attend the service.
Twenty-four-year-old Justin Bourque faces first degree murder and attempted murder charges.
