Fire Prevention Week in Perth County

Next week is  “Fire Prevention Week”. This year, the Perth East and West Perth Fire Departments are delivering one of the busiest Fire Prevention Weeks in the department’s history. Fire Chief Bill Hunter,  said in the past, Perth East Fire Department’s Open House events would all take place on the Wednesday evening.   Chief Hunter says firefighters will be doing a “Door-to-door” campaign to check smoke/CO alarm checks.  No tickets will be handed out if they find that they aren’t working.

 This year, there will be something happening each day after Thanksgiving, from the Tuesday to the Saturday. Friday, October 12th: You can have a coffee with a Firefighter ( 10AM-12PM at both McDonald’s Restaurants  Stratford locations) and Saturday, October 13th: Shakespeare Recreation Complex
