Dairy farm under investigation for animal cruelty

There’s a new animal rights controversy in Canadian agriculture.

Eight workers have been suspended from a dairy farm in British Columbia.

The move comes after an undercover video from an animal rights group shows the cows being abused.

It captured images of the workers beating the animals with whips, chains and rakes and other devices.

The company that runs the farm says the video is ‘devastating’.

The investigating continues.
