It was a successful night for Stratford police as they kicked off the Festive RIDE program.
Just 24-hours into their new policing duties in St. Mary’s they held a RIDE program in the town and throughout Perth South.
Police stopped about 1-hundred vehicles and there were no charges laid.
RIDE programs will continue throughout the holiday season and Stratford Police are encouraging everyone to find an alternative way to travel by taking a cab, having a designated driver or staying over when spreading holiday cheer.
