A young man from Mitchell has died after being struck by a vehicle in Oshawa.
Police say they were called out to a scene near the Durham College campus in Oshawa, just over an hour east of Toronto, around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon after a 19-year-old male was struck by a vehicle.
They say a 2018 Toyota Rav4, driven by an 18-year-old male, was traveling southbound when it hit a median and struck the teen.
The Mitchell teen, a student in Oshawa, was brought to the hospital where he later died.
An investigation into what happened continues.
