Charges Laid Against Stratford Man Believed To Be Connected To Two Weekend Robberies

A number of charges have been laid against a 39-year-old Stratford man after police believe he stole from two businesses.

Police say, just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, they were called to the 7-11 on Erie Street about a man shoplifting from the store.

The man was arrested and police say he was also found to have a knife on him.

He was charged with Theft Under $5-thousand and Possession of Stolen Property and he was ordered to appear in court.

On Saturday, police say the same man is believed to have stolen from Mark’s Work Warehouse at Festival Market Place,
