Salvation Army Stratford Looking For Volunteers To Help With Christmas Kettle Campaign

You’re being called on to show your generosity and help those in need.

The annual Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is underway in Stratford with officials hoping to raise $118-thousand which will go towards helping those in need in our area, not only at Christmas time but throughout the entire year to come.

The Salvation Army Stratford is also looking for volunteers to help out by overseeing a Christmas kettle for a few hours at one of the 9 locations in Stratford and 1 location in Mitchell.

Major David Braye with the Salvation Army Stratford says he’s hopeful that they can reach this year’s goal.

“I think that’s quite attainable, we’ve reached a similar figure in the past so we just upgraded it a little just to capture the extra need that’s on the go this year.”

The campaign runs from now until December 24th and you can call the Salvation Army office in Stratford if you want to volunteer.
