Stratford Police are trying to track down those responsible for stealing from vehicles in the city.
They say they received two calls Friday morning about the thefts with the first reported to have happened in the downtown core.
According to police, a victim woke up to find that a toolbox containing his supplies for trade school had been stolen with a total combined value of $1500.
The second incident happened in the Brunswick Street area with a victim reporting that tools worth a total of around $2000 were stolen from his van.
There was no damage to the van and it’s believed it was left unlocked.
