A New Hamburg man is on the hook for a $150 fine after an incident at last year’s Santa Claus Parade.

Mark Hoffman was dropping off food donations he had gathered at the parade in 2017 when he was stopped by a police officer.

He was given six tickets worth over $1-thousand for the condition the truck that he was driving was in.

On Tuesday, Hoffman pleaded guilty in court to two of the offences with the other four tickets dropped.

Hoffman still took part in the most recent Santa Claus Parade in New Hamburg on December Second but this time around he drove a different vehicle.
