A Stratford man wanted by Woodstock Police has been arrested.
Police say 27-year-old Robert Tyler Pearson was taken into custody Thursday in Woodstock.
Last Friday, Woodstock Police had sent out a release saying that they were looking for Pearson after a warrant was issued for his arrest related to serious offences involving a weapon.
Police warned the public at the time not to confront Pearson as it was feared he might have been armed with a weapon.
He was held for a bail hearing and police say now that the matter is before the courts no further information will be released at this time.
