The United Way Perth-Huron is almost there when it comes to the goal for their annual campaign.
To date, they say they have reached 80 percent of the goal for 2018-2019 which is $1,446,625.00.
The money raised goes to helping 48 organizations and services across Perth and Huron Counties.
United Way Perth-Huron Annual Campaign Co-Chair Martin Ritsma says the community continues to show their support for those who need it.
“We’re at 80 percent, we’re at I believe $1,155,000.00, we are at 80 percent but we still know we have some work to do.”
The annual campaign began collecting donations in September.
