Stratford Police searching for two men connected to counterfeit money in St.Marys

Stratford Police are searching for two men they say are connected to counterfeit money being used in St.Marys.

Police say counterfeit American $100 bills were passed by two different males on two separate occasions last weekend in the town with each male making a purchase at a store, paying for the purchase with the bills and receiving change from the purchase.

They say the store owner later learned that the bills were fake and contacted police.

The Stratford Police has obtained video surveillance of the two incidents and photographs of the two suspects.

The photos have been released to the public and anyone who recognizes the men is asked to call the police.
