Passed away suddenly on Sunday June 15, 2014 at his home in Baden.
He was born 85 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the son of the late Nelson & Elnora (Weiderhold) Luckhart.
Beloved husband of Betty (Turner) Luckhart with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage. Loving father of Diane Luckhart of New Hamburg, Jim Luckhart, Bob & Gail Luckhart of Burlington, Paul & Pat Luckhart of Baden, Pat & Wayne Smith of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Michael, Emma, Sam (Ara), Chris, Emily and Katherine. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Howard & Marjorie Luckhart of Sebringville, Robert & Herma Luckhart of Calgary, Murray & Marie Luckhart of Teviotdale, Herb Plummer, Ella Luckhart, Charlotte Brodrecht all of New Hamburg. Raymond was predeceased by his sister Margaret Plummer, brothers Don Luckhart, Ollie Luckhart and Edward & Noreen Luckhart.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Friday June 20, 2014 from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. when the memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jan Steckley officiating.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society.
