Stratford Police looking for information in hit and run investigation

Stratford Police are appealing to the public for information in a hit and run investigation.

Just after 7 o’clock Tuesday morning, police say they got a complaint of a hit and run collision on Erie Street at the entrance to CRP Plastics.

Officers came to the scene and spoke with a driver who advised that a newer model white Cadillac had passed him on the right as he was attempting to turn into the businesses entrance.

The Cadillac made contact with the complainant’s vehicle and continued south on Erie Street leaving the city before a license plate number could be collected.

Police say the Cadillac should have damage to the front and left side of the vehicle but just how much damage was caused isn’t known.

If you have any information on what happened you’re asked to call Stratford Police or Crime Stoppers.
