Can You Hack It – Ice Cream Bread

It’s once again time for “Can You Hack It?” where we take something weird we found on the internet and test it out (to see if YOU should too) and today we attempted to make Ice Cream Bread. Can melted ice cream mixed with flour make bread and for that matter, does it taste any good?
Can you hack it?
Let’s find out …

Here is the recipe:

2 cups ice cream, melted, any kind
1 ¼ cups self-rising flour
(If you’re like me and don’t have self-rising flour: To make your own combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt)
Loaf Pan

-Preheat your oven to 350ËšF
-Combine melted ice cream and self-rising flour. Mix until well combined
-Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and grease with a nonstick spray.
-Pour batter into a loaf pan and spread evenly.
-Bake for 35-40 minutes (We did 40 minutes but found OUR bread/cake could probably have used an extra 5 minutes at least)
-Let cool before cutting.
