A 20-year-old West Perth man faces charges after police say he hit a parked car with a snowmobile.
Just after 8 o’clock last Friday night, police say an officer saw a snowmobile strike a parked car with the driver then fleeing on foot.
Police say, out of concerns for the driver’s safety, members of the Emergency Response Team and Canine Units responded to assist and they soon found the driver.
He’s been charged with Flight from a peace officer and Fail to remain at the scene of a collision.
He has a court date in Stratford scheduled for February 25th.
