United Way holds AGM last night

The United Way Perth Huron held its AGM last night.

The organization celebrated big achievements over the past year and big plans for the road ahead.

Executive Director Ryan Erb says it was a very good year.

Erb says one of their big successes was starting the Multicultural Association.

He says their plan is based on extensive dialogues with local residents.

Erb says one of them is all about building a collaborative and cooperative community.

The other three strategic directions include taking evidence based action to tackle issues, establishing clearly defined priorities and increasing revenues and resources.
