Down under hockey is coming north next week.
Perth East will host 31 young hockey players from Queensland, Australia. The players range in age from 11 to 15. The Queensland Cyclones was formed to allow these young players to travel internationally in order to build competitive hockey skills and personal development.
The players will be training with at the Perth East Recreation Complex in Milverton with local hockey enthusiast Mike Carter of the Huron Perth Lakers, Kory Dietz of Power Edge Pro and Philip Westman & Mark Nelson of the Stratford Warriors.
The Cyclones will be playing local minor hockey teams March 4th and 5th.
