Stratford man charged with sexually assaulting two teenage girls

Police say a Stratford man faces charges after sexually assaulting two teenage girls.

Stratford Police say they received information on a sexual assault against a teenage girl on Monday and they say their investigation discovered that a second teenage girl had also been sexually assaulted.

They say the accused was identified as a 45-year-old man from Stratford who is a family member of the girls.

He was arrested by police and was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

He was later released from custody with a court date scheduled for April 23rd and was placed on conditions not to have contact with either of the victims and not to be in the company of anyone under 16-years-old.

Police say neither of the victims suffered any physical injuries and both victims and their families have been offered support through Victim Services.
