The Ontario Federation of Agriculture supports the change at the agriculture ministry.
Premier Kathleen Wynne unveiled her cabinet yesterday.
She has re-unified agriculture with the rural affairs ministry and has handed the whole thing over to Peterborough MPP Jeff Leal.
Wynne held the agriculture portfolio prior to the election while Leal handled Rural affairs.
The OFA says is supports this move and will work closely with the government to advance issues important to farmers and rural communities.
