Police say following another commercial vehicle too closely on Highway 401 in Thames Centre has lead to charges against a 27-year-old truck driver.
OPP West Region says the driver from Brampton was charged after they received footage from the OPP Aviation Services which was conducting aerial enforcement on Sunday.
The driver was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle-Perform Stunt-Too Close to Vehicle and he received a 7-day driver’s license suspension with the tractor-trailer impounded for seven days.
Police say the truck was traveling over 100 kilometers an hour at the time of the incident.
