Guilty pleas expected in case of Burlington teen charged in deadly collision

We could soon see a guilty plea in the case of a man facing several charges in relation to the death of a Stratford teen in a rollover collision last fall.
The Stratford Beacon Herald reports that the lawyer for Favian Lee-Allert told a judge Monday that the Burlington teen will enter guilty pleas to the charges, including impaired driving causing death, on April 23rd.
While 19-year-old Lee-Allert could plead guilty that day in connection to the single-vehicle collision at the intersection of Embro Road and Erie Street, he wouldn’t be sentenced until sometime this summer as his lawyer has asked for a pre-sentence report which usually takes about two months to prepare.
Lee-Allert faces seven charges in relation to the collision that happened on October 28th, including having blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
Nineteen-year-old Eric Millar from Stratford was injured in the collision and later died at the Stratford General Hospital.
