It’s a big weekend in Stratford.
The Stratford Swan Parade is set for Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m. sharp, with the swans marching to the Avon River.
As per usual, the Stratford Police Pipes and Drums will signal the start of the parade.
The swans march from their winter quarters behind the William Allman Arena, down Morenz Drive with an eastward turn onto Lakeside Drive and after a short walk, into the Avon River to begin their spring water rituals.
Parking is available in the Stratford Festival parking lot (Lakeside Drive at Queen Street) and along Lakeside Drive east of Front Street.
