Stratford’s downtown transit terminal nearing completion

We could soon see the completion of Stratford’s downtown transit terminal.

Stratford Transit Manager Michael Mousley tells the Stratford Beacon Herald that they are aiming to have the $2.2 million dollar project finally finished in about two months.

Construction started again last week as crews are completing the public washrooms and staff breakroom that they weren’t able to finish last fall because of digging-related delays.

Until the project is completed, city buses have been moved to an adjacent parking lot next to the YMCA.

The terminal, once completed, will feature two public washrooms along Downie Street and there will be a family washroom.
