The finishing touches have been put on the 2019 budget in Perth East.
At their meeting last Tuesday, Perth East Council approved the Township’s 2019 Capital and Operating Budget which includes a tax increase of 2.72 percent for the average homeowner.
Some of the big-ticket items approved include video recording equipment for viewing council meetings online, the implementation of electronic billing to send township invoices by email and upgrading the former Festoso water system in Shakespeare.
