Highway 401 to be closed west of London this weekend

A head’s up if you’re planning on traveling Highway 401 west of London this weekend.

The highway will be closed in both directions, from Iona Road to Colonel Talbot Road, from 9 p.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday.

The closure is being put in place as construction workers demolish the east half of the Union Road underpass.

There will be a detour at Iona Road and Colonel Talbot.
