Stratford Police say a stolen tractor has been found and returned to its owner.
Just after 8:30 Monday night, police say they got a report about a John Deere Cabin Tractor that had been abandoned in a stand of trees along Road 151 in Perth South.
Police say they found the tractor but no one was seen in the area and investigators learned that the tractor was seen being followed by a red SUV as it was driven into a stand of trees.
A search was held for the SUV but nothing turned up and it was learned that the tractor was stolen from the Tavistock area earlier in the day on Monday.
Anyone with information on the theft of the tractor is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
