Rally planned for Friday afternoon over Ford government’s plans for education

Members of the local district of the Ontario Secondary School Teacher’s Federation want their voices heard.

They are planning a rally for Friday afternoon in front of Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece’s office in Stratford to protest the Ford government’s plans for education in the province.

Organizers say educators will be gathering with parents, grandparents and concerned community members because unlike the Ford PC government, they don’t believe that larger class sizes, mandatory e-learning and less funding for school repairs are good for students and communities.

The rally is planned to take place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
