Stratford and District Chamber celebrates Business Excellence

It was a sold-out crowd for the 2019 Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.

This year there were 48 nominees in nine categories.

Chamber of Commerce General Manager Eddie Matthews said, “It’s an evening to celebrate businesses from around Perth County and recognize those who were nominated in the various categories.”

Rick Orr and Joani Gerber were the emcees for the evening.

The winners are as follows:

The Entrepreneur Award: Snapping Turtle Coffee Roasters

The Commercial Award: Teahen Construction

The Innovation Award: Stratford Public Library

The Manufacturing Award: C.R. Plastic Products

The Service Award: A Touch of Dutch Landscaping & Garden Services

The Professional Award: St. Marys Independent Newspaper

The Retail Award: La Osa Jewelry and Vintage

The Business of the Year Award C.R. Plastic Products

This is the 23rd annual awards gala and reflects a history of business growth, commitment to professional excellence, innovation and community engagement in Stratford, St Marys, Mitchell, and the District.
