Vehicle strikes Perth South Township building in collision

Two people suffered minor injuries in a collision that saw a vehicle strike the Perth South Township building.

Stratford Police say they got a call around 12:20 Monday afternoon about a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Perth Line 20 and Road 122.

They say each vehicle had one occupant and both drivers were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Through their investigation, police say they spoke with the drivers and learned that a red Pontiac Vibe was travelling north on Road 122 when it came to a stop at Perth Line 20 before proceeding through the intersection.

As the vibe entered the intersection, police say it was struck by a pickup truck travelling west on Perth Line 20 with the collision causing the Vibe to go off the road and strike the corner of the building.

The driver of the Vibe has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with disobeying a stop sign.
