Police say one person is dead after a single-vehicle collision near Atwood in North Perth.
Just before noon Sunday, first responders were called out to the collision north of Atwood on Perth Line 75.
Police say it involved a pickup truck travelling west on Perth Line 75, between Road 166 and Road 169, that struck a tree with the lone occupant of the truck, a 68-year-old man, pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The section of road in the area was closed off while investigators were on scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Perth County OPP.
