Avon Maitland District School Board looking for input for new strategic plan

The Avon Maitland District School Board is looking for input as it puts together its new strategic plan.

Parents, students and community members are being asked to use what the board calls an “innovative online tool” called thoughexchange to share their feedback.

Officials say thoughtexchange allows users to respond to an open-ended question and then anonymously rate the responses of others out of 5 stars.

They say all collected information is confidential with the question being posed to participants via thoughtexchange being: “What do you value most about Avon Maitland DSB and what can we do better to prepare students for life and learning?”

The feedback will be gathered from this Friday until June 7th for the strategic plan which will be in place from 2020 until 2024.
