Police: Huron East woman charged after two Sea-Doos stolen in Monkton

A 33-year-old Huron East woman faces charges after police say two Sea-Doo’s were stolen in Monkton.

Police say a joint investigation between Perth County OPP and Huron County OPP continues into the theft of the two Sea-Doo’s and a trailer from a home on Road 1680.

They say the theft happened sometime last Saturday and the stolen property was recovered the same day near Brussels when a proposed buyer became suspicious and reported the transaction to police.

The woman has been charged with several offences including Trafficking in property obtained by crime.

Police say the property has been returned to its owner.
