Police bust two local speeders

The Perth County OPP nailed a couple of local speeders.

They caught an 18-year-old man on Perth Line 32 Friday night going 136 km an hour – 56 km over the speed limit.

However, he was outdone by a 37-year-old speed demon Saturday night on Perth Line 20 who was doing 152 km an hour – 72 clicks over the speed limit.

Both were charged with racing, lost their vehicles for a week and will answer to charges in court.
