UPDATE: Police arrest suspect accused of shoplifting from Listowel business

UPDATE: 3:31 P.M.

North Perth OPP are thanking the public for their help after they arrested a man accused of shoplifting from a business in Listowel.
Around 6:30 Tuesday evening,  police say they responded to the business after a report of theft.
They say while they were on scene the suspect fled on foot.
Police issued a photo of the suspect Wednesday morning to the public and they now say he has been arrested.
The 42-year-old from North Perth has been charged with Theft Under $5 thousand.
He is due to appear in court in Stratford on June 17th.

The public is being asked for help in catching a man police say shoplifted from a Listowel business.

Around 6:30 Tuesday evening, police say they responded to the business after a report of theft.

They say while they were on scene the suspect fled on foot.

An investigation into the theft continues and anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call the police.
