Three festivals and events in Perth-Wellington getting funding boost from province

Three festivals and events in Perth-Wellington are on the receiving end of a funding boost from the province.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says his riding will receive a total of $288, 864 which will go towards the Stratford Festival for their The Forum program, Stratford Summer Music and the Stratford Blues and Ribfest.

The funding is coming from Celebrate Ontario which supports festivals and events throughout the province.

Ontario is investing $13 million in over 250 festivals and events in communities across the province, plus another $4 million in additional funding for blockbuster events.

Celebrate Ontario Funding in Perth-Wellington:

The Forum (Stratford Festival)                      $250,000

Stratford Summer Music                                $30,000

Stratford Blues and Ribfest                            $8,864
